Traffic Report: June–July 2025
Period: June 11 — July 11, 2025
Unique visitors: 4,370
This is a brief report on the website's traffic over the past 30 days.
In the past month, my website was visited by 4,370 unique users. If you look at the chart, you’ll notice: there was a spike in traffic at the beginning of the month, followed by a decline and stabilization. Why did this happen?
The reason is simple: I stopped actively posting on social media.
What the numbers show
In the first days, there was a sharp increase — more than 200 unique visitors per day. Then, traffic dropped and stabilized at 120–150 people per day. The peak coincided with active posting on social networks. The decline started exactly when I stopped sharing links.
Social media — fast but short-term effect
Regular posts on social media really do bring quick results. People follow the links, read, share, and engage. It’s a great way to quickly attract attention. But as soon as the activity stops, traffic returns to previous levels. Why does this happen?
Social media algorithms don’t forgive pauses. The audience quickly switches to other content. Social networks don’t work as a long-term channel unless you maintain constant activity. And what kind of long-term channel is it, if I have at most a couple hundred followers in each network? The effect is limited by my modest "media weight."
Comparison with previous periods
- June–July 2025: 4,370 unique visitors
- May–June 2025: 4,290 unique visitors
- April–May 2025: 4,200 unique visitors
Growth compared to last month: 4,370 minus 4,290, that is, plus 80 unique visitors.
Growth compared to the month before last: 4,370 minus 4,200, that is, plus 170 unique visitors.
The trend remains positive, although the growth rate has slightly decreased. Last month it was plus 90, now plus 80.
Visitor geography
- Ireland: 34,437
- USA: 13,511
- Singapore: 4,308
- Russia: 3,858
- Germany: 3,618
Conclusions
There is a steady increase in unique visitors, albeit at a slow pace. The main traffic-leading countries have not changed: Ireland, USA, Singapore, Russia, and Germany. Organic traffic has not yet become the main source; most visitors still come from social networks and external channels.
Plans:
I’m not making any plans anymore. We’ll see how it goes! I should keep publishing articles and see where it leads in the long run. Maybe this approach will bring the best results.
