Traffic Report: July–August 2025

Unique visitors: 3,850

This is a brief report on the website's traffic over the past 30 days.

Over the past month, my site was visited by 3,850 unique users. There were no spikes — the daily number of visitors remained roughly the same.

During this period, I didn’t publish new content on the site or post on social media. In previous months, you could see growth thanks to social posts with links to the site, but this time there was no such effect.

Traffic analytics

Let’s figure out where visitors come from.

My YouTube channel, despite no new posts in the last 30 days, received 3,340 views on older videos. Of these, 1,097 views (32.8%) came from India. This doesn’t match the website traffic geography, and the source of the remaining 68% of views remains unclear.

There’s also Reddit, but I haven’t yet figured out how to view statistics for all old posts for the last 30 days. These are currently the only social platforms where there are at least some views that could bring at least some traffic to the site.

Apart from social media, some visitors likely come from search engines — the so‑called organic traffic.

What’s next

To understand where to move next and how to develop the site, I need to collect more accurate data:

• Add Google Analytics for more detailed analytics.
• Add UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) to links to track traffic sources and the effectiveness of posts.

The collected data will help make informed decisions and adjust the site promotion strategy.
